Today, the City of Żywiec announces a contest for the design and creation of murals in 5 locations all over the city.
Murals will decorate the fence wall behind the viaduct on Dworcowa Street 17, the wall of the apartment block No. 56 in the Kabaty residentian area, the wall of the apartment block No. 14 in the Młodych residentian area from the side of the Piłsudski avenue, the external wall of the auditorium of the Pod Grojcem amphitheater and the wall of the building of the Environmental Club of the Municipal Cultural Center OGRÓDEK.
From among the submitted works, the jury will choose the best, and already in next year  Żywiec will join the group of cities decorated with murals.
The creation of murals will be accompanied by workshops involving the residents of the city, conducted by artists selected in the competition. Works can be submitted until December 16, 2022.
